AMAZING amount of work to transform the school for the night...
i enjoyed working on some chalk art for the drinks menu, something i would love to be able to afford one day - to take part in a course to learn how to do it properly.
Also on my list was to make 200 of the little cakes you can see here, to make the desserts for the night. We cater to 180 seated guests - 30 tables of 6 people, this year we were a little short with 27 tables sold.
Needless to say many hours put into this night - awesome result - over $6500 raised, down a little on last year but still fantastic - a very DEDICATED group of people to work with ;0)

This was the lyrics to the song we danced to for our wedding waltz.
And this one about my favourite tunes right now, loved the big coloured music notes, oil pastels give such vibrant colours...
and this one about our childhood holiday haunts, which just happens to be where i also met my hubby when i was 15 years old-mum and dad still have their caravan down there.

Our budding baker/pastry chef has finished his 3 months probation and been signed up for his apprenticeship "officially". He is enjoying it and even wakes up BEFORE his 3.20am alarm call. (thank god, finally!!)
When the bakers hat goes on at home you know he means business!!!..
shepherds pie for dinner, made from scratch AND potato on top beautifully piped!
devoured in 5 minutes flat.

birthday cake, 1 of the 3 made!! school, party, home!! Over chocolate cake at the moment, wonder why, lol!!
