HAPPY NEW YEAR :0)))))
I hope your Christmas and New year were all that you hoped :0)
Our traditional chrissy at the beach was enjoyed by our family and as we speak is still being enjoyed with just under 4 weeks still to go down here at the caravan, spoilt and loving it!! ;0)
The weather has been perfect up until last night of course!! What would New Years Eve be without copious amounts of rain to see the New Year in, not to mention the wet season!! However our spirits were not dampened and a fine time was had by all:0)
So, amongst other things, one of my goals this year inspired by the lovely Ngaire Bartlam is to take an image a day for each day of 2010. It is something i WILL do and have started with my first one for 2010. A walk up the beach to find amongst other things this....
wild hibiscus 01/01/2010
If you would like to check out Ngaires pics you can do so by clicking here.....Ngaires 365 image a day, from 2009 .
I have put together a collage also of some happy snaps taken over the last couple of weeks.
The vivid blue sky against the sand and rainforest background just NEVER ceases to amaze me down here, love it :0)
Enjoy your new Year
A :0)

This is on our front door, as of last night!!
I have had this canvas sitting around for ages, i picked it up for a measley 3 bucks cause it had a big rip in the top left hand corner, that was soon covered up with layering of old music scores (is that what you call it?) and paint. My father would probably be horrified but i do it all with my fingers, i like using them better than a brush, LOL!!
This tree is one of the new Fiskars shapecutter templates and fast becoming a favourite, its the same one i used on the layout of Miss Paris the cat. (in the post below)
Now i'm starting to get into the christmassy spirit!!
Happy 1st of December, can you believe it??

I am being lazy and just posting my Fiskars post here!!:-
Hasn't it been a great challenge - thanks Lianne for pushing us all outside our comfort zone, fantastic to see so many inspiring entries in also from you guys :0) Don't forget you still have till midnight tonight to get your entries in.
So my meal was:
81/2 x 11 layout
pink, orange, aqua
cardboard
paint
4 patterend papers
plain cardstock.
As ambassadors, we are all really excited with the new templates Fiskars have released, available at wholesalers now. The "Woodland" template has the tree, the bird and the clouds that you can see in the layout. (As well as a whole heap of other shapes) For the little birds wings, i just used the bits of the tree that i cut off the lefthand edge of the layout, doubled them up - perfect, didn't even have to cut to size ;0).
The journalling semicircle is actually one of the flaps that have been cut off the envelope template, another newbie that you will see get a workout on here over the next couple of months!!
The circle scallop and little may flowers squeeze punches have made quick work out of producing lots of flower embellishments while the trustee old circle squeeze punch guides us up to what Miss Paris is thinking!! ;0)
Thats it from me, i know the other guys are working on projects using the new products, i will have 2 more projects coming using the tree in a totally different way also, so be sure to drop by daily to see whats happening.

Annette :0)
oops edited to say: the border on the right hand side is another newbie!! Its the corner/border punch "Framed in Love" PRETTY!!!

Hello!!
My apologies for the lateness of this post, i wasn't having much luck photographing our class, wasn't happy so did them again, mmm still not happy but here they are!! Could do with some photography lessons i would think ;0)
So converting layouts to card and vice versa, 2 layouts, 2 ++ cards.....
Still have some glossy accents to add the finishing touches.
These should come together quite quickly and easily, they did for me, miracle!!! The first layout doesn't have the photos added yet, still have to print them off.
It isn't necessary to bring photos to the class as we are concentrating on getting 4 items finished to take home and you will be able to very succesfully add your photos later!!
Hope to see you there, don't forget if you book and pay now, you receive a discount :0)

Hello :0)
Annette here, thought i would share what i made last night. I was having a bit of a blog hop yesterday and i came across WhipUp.net .
This lady has close family members who are affected by Cystic Fibrosis and to help raise awareness of this disease she is organising a quilt block drive, and so The 65 Roses Quilt was the way to do it. 65 Roses Day is named after a folklore story - and raises awareness of Cystic Fibrosis.
The Quilt - ocmprised of 65 blocks will be auctioned at the CF Australia annual gala auction event in Canberra in September 2010.
I think its a great cause so i have made mine and will pop it in the mail tomorrow :0)
If you want the details, click on all the links above.
Okay so here is my contribution, like i told you a couple of days ago i am hooked on my
Mini fingertip rotary cutter at the moment, so cutting was done in a matter of minutes!!
The fabric was some bits i had from Tarisota .
On each block the top lefthand square is to have a rose appliqued or embroidered on it, there are templates provided or you can design your own.
This took me back to my primary school days where we learnt how to embroider (thanks goodness i listened!! ;0), so i did it in chain stitch and satin stitch in the middle.
And the end result
i was happy with the end result, it was done with what i had on hand, but i'm thinking i might just have a little trip to Spotlight next week and make another ;0)
Hope your weekend is relaxing.
Thanks for stopping by
Ax

HELLO!!
Over on the ANZ Fiskars blog this month the challenge is to create to a menu, you can find all the details by CLICKING HERE. Basically you choose from the menu, email Lianne your choice and she will email you back with a set of guidlines for you to create with. Good fun and great being told what to do!!
So this is my post from over at Fiskars:-
Well Liannes menu turned out to be a bit more in this household, everybody got involved!!
The day i decided to make my menu, our daughter was home sick. My menu involved buttons and when i got the jar out, Maddison decided she would sort them into colours and make a few pictures along the way. It kept her occupied for a good couple of hours, and my buttons are now colour coded into 10 different packets!!
This is what she made....
Cute huh?
Okay so my menu was:-
To make a card
brown, orange and green colour combination
2 patterned papers
fabric
buttons
plain cardstock optional extra
This is what I came up with
I made this shortly after i got home from the Craft and Quilt Fair and i was hanging out to play with my new little cutter
I love this new toy!! It was great for cutting my fabric grass, and my wavy line on my middle orangey piece of PP. I used my circle squeeze punches for my flower bases and attached my button layers with glossy accents. My "beauty" embellishement was hand drawn and hand cut with my Fiskars micro tip scissors, great for all the little inbetween fidly bits.
Now i was feeling a little more creative the next day and decided that i didn't want to give my card away, that i would make it into a little frame. So sticking to my rustic colours i gave instructions to Chris to look for a piece of old timber to make a frame for my card, he was on his way to the dump with hubby, i was sure they could find a piece of recycled timber.
Sure enough they did and Chris made a rustic, not too precise with the measurements frame, first time he's used a mitre box, i think he did very well. This is going to live above the toilet in our bathroom which is white and terracotta!! (Not sure about the "beauty" in the toilet, but hey, the colours match LOL!! ;0)
Thats it from me, thanks for stopping by today, plllleeeennnty of inspiration floating around here so why not get in on the act and shoot Lianne an email and get a menu of your own to play with!!
HAPPY WEEKEND TO YOU
Annette ;0)

Hello, well i am finally getting around to posting some pics of the Fiskars Demo Spotlight night...
It was a fun night with a steady stream of people stopping in to say hello and have a play with the tools. It was lovely to see some familiar faces and to meet some new ones, in particular the squeeze punches were popular as well as the shapecutter and stamps.
I always seems to struggle with taking photos at these events, not sure why, but anyway i took Christopher with me this time and he got a few photos right at the end of the night. Michelle and Beryl enjoyed testing tools and just watching.
The very talented Bonnie was also there doing some beading demonstrations, a few of her creations you can see in the bottom right hand corner. (Christopher was very impressed with the bells!)
This is Jenny the craft manager, we could hear her jingling with bells in her hair all around the shop!!
The girls had the store looking very christmassy and had made a lovely display for our demo area, complete with decorated trees, chairs, nibbles, punch, specials and giveaways throughout the night. Christopher was kept busy helping the girls hide presents throughout the store and he was given the very important job at the end of the night - to draw the winners out of the hat!! No doubt he will want to come next time ;0)
The girls always make me feel welcome and very generously presented me with a box of chocolates at the end YUMMO - thanks girls ;0), and a craft gift for Christopher too!!
If you haven't been to one of these nights, you really must, it is well worth the effort, always bargains to be had, giveaways and inspirational hands-on demos from of different crafts.

HELLO!!
How are you all?
Like the other Demonstrators and Ambassadors i too will be out and about TONIGHT IN CAIRNS SPOTLIGHT. I will have all my tools with me and i am madly working on some frames and cards to inspire you in a festive way!!
I have been giving the squeeze punches a workout to make funky little chrissy trees, wanna peak?....
No, not traditional colours in our house this year ;0)
I will have my LATEST FAVOURITE TOOL - the fingertip control rotary cutter (hope i got that name correct!!) If you haven't tried out this little baby you don't know what you're missing. Works fantastically on paper and fabric, so we will give it a whirl tonight, cut some fabric, do a little stamping and see what we can make ;0)
Border punches, squeeze punches, ultra shape express, stamp blocks and stamps, trimmers, eyelet setters, all there for you to have a play.
Almost forgot..... if a shapeboss embossing system has been on your wishlist, i hear they are going out the door TONIGHT BETWEEN 6 AND 9 FOR HALF PRICE, so grab yourself a bargain.
Might see you there? Hope so ;0)
bfn
Annette :0)
PS. If funky chrissy trees are your thing and you would like the instructions to make these, let me know in the comments and i will see what i can do about uploading some instructions over the next week or so,they are quick and would make great "production line" chrissy cards;0)

Had a wonderful time :0)
Believe it or not i took NO photos!! Working all day on the Fiskars stand didn't leave much time to take any pics (not complaining mind you :0) Half an hour for lunch, in which you have to eat, wee AND look at everything the show has to offer, goes VERY quickly!!
I was amazed at hour many Cairns girls i saw down there, maybe one day we will have some sort of craft show up our way, maybe...
This lovely lady and her delightful family generously put up with me for the week, for which i was very grateful :0) Brisbane was a bit of an eyeopener for me, although originally from Sydney, i have lived up in FNQ for 21 years and realised more than ever that i really have adapted to the slower way of life up here. Not that there is anything wrong with life down there, just alot faster and busier, cars and buses like i have never seen before, LOL!!
So back on Monday ready for a relaxing week to finish some magazine work, deadlines looming (next week)was quickly thrown out the window with some unexpected work at the kids school. The admin lady has taken ill so i am filling in, all good... just not planned.
A little tiny sneak at what i am working on, will share when i can:0)
Some published work this month in Australian Cardmaking Stamping and Papercraft Magazine Volume 15 No 6.
and a closeup
Sorry its sideways and i can't budge it!!
and if you would like to win the current issue of this mag go Here and leave a comment to go into the RAK draw :0)
Okay bed is calling, lots of blogs to catch up on... soon as i get a minute....soon ;0)
Nearly the last day of the week, enjoy.

Hey finally i have gotten around to a tad of blogging!!
I had a fabulous day down in tully on Saturday at Jamiks, those girls are a hoot, had me in tears, of laughter that is!! Waiting on a few candid shots from Karyn, she has promised to send through ;0)
Thanks girls, look forward to the next time we meet :0)
Today was a day spent in the kitchen....
2 chocolate cakes
2 mud cakes
2 quiches
2 batches of potatoe, leek and ham soup.
I was a busy girl.
Chocolate cakes for school for Christopher who turns 11 on Saturday.
Mud cakes for the family celebrations, 1 to take camping and 1 to share tomorrow night when the big boys come home for dinner, yay!! :0)
for the potatoe and leek soup....
and these are all home grown, spinach, parsely, roma tomatoes and eggs from our girls.
Chris would have a pink fit if he saw how many eggs i had in the bowl, he likes to see them all lined up on the door of the fridge, he still gets excited at the fact that the girls are actually laying eggs!
all whipped up ready to add some cream!!
so quiche and soup off to a friend for whom is very ill and we all take turns on a cooking roster to help out.
the other quiche and soup for our dinner, and all the cakes to ice in the morning before school, oh and Jesse (the baker/pastry chef apprentice of the family) informs me that he will take charge of the piping bag and decorate the mud cake when he gets home from work tomorrow arvo, so stay tuned for some pics of that ;0)
Have a happy Friday.
Hey Nic H are you blogging yet??!!

It has been a while since i have participated in SSS, mind you i STILL hunt for shadows, just never seem to get them posted in time!!
Todays shadow is from Nicks new house that he and 3 friends have moved into. The security mesh provided a perfect shadow.
A little blurry i must say!!
For shadows all over the world visit the delightful Hey Harriet and have a happy Sunday :0)

We are making this on Saturday 10.10.09, this weekend!!
Be ready to play and have your patience hat on ;0)!! You will have a ball!!
These papers are suited to anything really so if you don't want to use nature photos, that is perfectly fine!!
I am going to give you the measurements of the photos i have used, most of them have been cropped.
Photo 1 - 15cms x 9cms
Photo 2 - 11cms x 10cms
Photo 3 - 15cms x 10cms
Photo 4 - 10cms x 11.5cms
Photo 5 - 7.5cms x 10cms
Photo 6 - 7.5cms x 10cms
I can hear you, yes I can, stop groaning and calling me names at those odd measurements ;0)
As i said this is what i have used, obviously if we all had the same photos we could crop them the same, BUT as this won't be the case there are going to be some different sizes and that to is perfectly fine :0)
If you are comfortable to crop now before the class, feel free otherwise we will take care of it in class on Saturday, but work on 5 or 6 photos, extra pages and photos can be added later at home if you wish.
If you are going to call your album something different or if you are going to have a different quote on the back, have a think about it now so that you don't waste time worrying about it on Saturday. If you come with it written down and have worked out how many "a's", "b's", "c's" etc in the title, it will make it much easier for you. I guess what i am trying to say is it is a fairly involved class, the more organised we are the better.
You can check out all the photos RIGHT HERE of what we are making. Your tool kit and any extras you will need you can find the details RIGHT HERE.
I can't wait!! This is our second last class for the year, we always have a hoot, oh and i have a Fiskars border punch to give away so keep your fingers crossed i draw you name out of the hat;0)
See you Saturday
A ;0)

wow, this poor neglected blog, it has been a while since i have been here....
because....
* Chris had been quite crook the week before school camp and still not 100 %, but.....
*he went away on his first school camp anyway, the week before the holidays and had an absolute ball, Ken went as well as an adult helper in the boys quarters, surprisingly he did get some sleep!!
* I had a mad scramble to get some projects finished that i had due, while everyone was away and sat up till the wee hours of the morning most nights, the table was once again piled high with um shall we say stuff!!
* Chris arrived home and i quickly emptied the suitcase so i could fill it again just as quickly with Jesses gear as he was off to Townsville for a 72 hole golf tournament, which he came runner up in :0).
* Next was to help get Nick organised, our big boy has taken the big step out into the big wide world of house renting/sharing, with 3 of his friends, 2 girls, Nick and another fellow!!mmm, party central me thinks ;0) anyway more on that at another time.
* The exit of Nick from the Hanigan household meant a big shuffle in rooms, which of course had to take place before we could go to the beach for the school holidays!!
* So we finally (the 2 youngest and myself) got down to our caravan at the beach for the rest of the school holidays.
* Ken dropped through 1 night on his way to townsville to pick Jesse up, they then travelled through to Brisbane (driving) where Jesse had another 72 hole golf tournament to play in. He came 24th in this one, which we think is fantastic, but he was not so happy.
so now we are back, back to school and back to normal for a few short weeks before i fly down to Brisbane to work at the Craft and Quilt Fair, Exhibition Centre, Southbank for a week on the Fiskars stand. I am also teaching a beginners class each day at the show, a board book designed by Lead Fiskars Ambassador Lyn Dwyer, which i am a tad excited about ;0).
Needless to say i have lots of blogs to catch up on, bare with me and lots of pics to post, (can't believe i have done a post with NO photos!!
thanks for stopping by.

Hello :0)
I have been working away busily getting the next class at Jamiks ready, and if an acrylic album is on your list of things to experience then maybe this one is for you:0)
Karen stocks the entire Kaiser range at Jamiks in Tully and the beauty of this is you can mix an match with other lines as well. All products except for the paper and ribbon are Kaiser - easy to work with and come up a treat:0)
I hope you enjoy looking :0)...
If your like me and have lots of photos of flower, nature, insects, scenery photos, now is the time to get them into this acrylic Kaiser album.
This class will be full of techniques, you will learn how to incorporate your product packaging into your work, for instance the alphabet paper above is packaging, the tag in photos 1 and 4 are also packaging, altered to suit our album, and the plastic case in which your alpha stickers come, will be repurposed to make a pouch to keep your album safe!!
The paper is very versatile, so if nature photos aren't your thing, not a problem, really any photos would suit, a special event, birthdays, kids - anything goes.
I'm always in trouble for not showing enough detail with what the class will be, so I hope this long photo post does the trick ;0)
would love for you to join us.
Jamiks Scrapbooking and Photography studio, the phone number is up on the top left hand side bar.
Have a great day :0)

Fathers Day saw us up at Copperlode Dam for a picnic, with the youngest 2, Chris and Maddison. Lucky for us Daddy is able to go on the restricted access tracks through Wet Tropics Rainforest. So we went bush and followed the track from Copperlode Dam up to Mareeba on the Tablelands. I've collaged pics from the day and included some favourites at the end. As you can see it was a gorgeous day, these are straight from the camera, no tweaking :0)
My favourite.....

I am on a bit of a "sepia photo" kick at the moment, don't know why, well actually on the way home from the footy last weekend i was mucking around with the camera while we were driving along, which is probably what started it.....
Well Ken actually did a very quick U-turn so i could get this little house, divine hey? I would love to know the history behind it, it is on the Bruce Highway on the Northern side of Cardwell, you can just see the new house at the back on the right.
just love how the clouds look in sepia, and look how dirty the car window is, lol. Splotches everywhere!!
More tomorrow, if you like sepia that is, lol!!

Using a Spotlight catalogue and sticking to all the browns and blacks i was able to punch out large circles and small circles, layer them x 9 and come up with an instant card.
Look for parts in the catalogue such as the wooden venetian blinds, black/brown bedding, curtains, towels etc.
For instance that top right hand circle is a rug on the bottom and a blind on top!!
these are the only tools needed....
White bazzill cardstock makes the circles stand out, a swipe of pinecone ink around the outside, some alphas, and its all done and in the mail!!
So before you ditch your junk mail, just look at it again, you'll be really surprised at what you can do.
Check out the ANZ Fiskars Blog for more ideas.

Tags: fathers day cards, Fiskars Craft, recycling junk mail
being hosted by fellow Ambassador Michelle Wallace.
Ane it is to.....
RECYCLE... RE PURPOSE... and REUSE.
The challenges are:
** Create a Layout using recycled items.. for example. cereal boxes, pizza boxes, bread tags, clothing labels, ribbon from clothing ... the list is endless
** Create a card using junk mail and punched on a card stock base ONLY !!! (you can add bling, ribbon, paint and ink though).
** Create an OTP item using recycled/re purposed items... for example that beer keg I mentioned earlier is destined as a gift holder of some really much needed munchies at Christmas time.. but badly needs a make over !
Lots of choices here!!
I have started playing and will share a card later made out of junk mail, a Spotlight catalogue to be precise!!

Hello!!
How's the scrapping coming along for the Colour Me Happy Scrappers?
I have finally finished, not at all what i had originally planned, but hey, thats how it goes!
These are the tools i used.....
The circle squeeze punches for all my scallops (big half circles) they were also used for my little paint palletes, cut in half. The little guilotine is perfect for trimming photos, or in this case for cutting up little photos. My border punch also for smaller decorative scallops. Other than those tools mentioned, some paint, black zig writer, white gel pen, ribbon and paint. My title was done using paint charts for the different colours and running them through the sizzix machine with an alphabet die.
So guys you have just under 9 hours to get your entries in, looking forward to seeing them.

My black and white collage....
My pic for day 1 is...
MMMmmm say no more!!
Pic for day 2.....
When my sister was up at the beginning of August we took a drive down the track to Babinda and spent a pleasant couple of hours poking around. This huge shackle is on the end of an even huger (is that a word?) anchor that is part of their War Memorial. As you can see it is kept in perfect condition, a lovely memorial and perfect for our black and white.
Wow, only 1 more day to go, can you believe it?!
okay for the final day i have 2 pics.....
A business in Cairns, my sister and i were driving around and came across this, so out the window she goes, good job Vick ;0). We sure are creative on the colour schemes up this way, lol!!
and this bloke was making our avairy birds go beserk.....
I'm sure i would be sqwarking as well if that big beak was looming over the top of me!
Check out the FISKARS BLOG to see more black and white.
Have a GREAT day everyone :0)

Good morning!!
My Orange for today is this...
Yes construction is alive and well up in Cairns as well!!
I have a giggle everytime i see this photo, we stopped in the middle of the road (again!!) Ken was driving, i was hanging out the window and Christopher was mortified and slunk down in the seat yet again!! Just for good measure Ken tooted the horn a couple of times just so we could draw a little more attention to ourselves! ;0)
I have just popped onto my blog to have a look and realized that my day 1 pic isn't there so i am going to slot it in here, not sure what happened there!! But here it is....
Over at the ANZ FISKARS BLOG you can find more orange.
You can also check out this COLOUR ME HAPPY HOUSEKEEPING POST to get up to speed on the last colour, black and white.
We are heading down the track to Townsville for the footy tongiht, Broncos V Cowboys, woo hoo, very excited, kids especially cause as well as going to the footy they miss out on a day at school ;0)
GO THE COWBOYS :0)

Morning All :0)
Every morning and afternoon we drive past this...
I was lurking, lol, on the main road through town i might add!! Otherwise i would have snapped off a few more shots showing some detail. We all nearly passed out when we saw what colour these people were painting their house, but with the matching shed and the imaculate gardens, it really is quite eye catching, not my cup of tea, but you know it takes all kinds :0)
More Orange can be found over Here
Enjoy your day.

Hello, i hope you are all still in your PJ's and enjoying a leisurely cuppa and browse of the Sunday Papers!!
Yellow for me today is this......
Just realised i have put the wrong date on the photo, just pretend it says 23.08.09, lol!!
DS #2, Jesse is a first year baker/pastry chef apprentice. The biggest seller in the bakery he works at is pies. They are absolutely delicious and are very well known far and wide. He asked his boss if he could make a new type of pie called a "breaky pie", that has meat, egg, tomato, bacon and topped with cheese, and this is one of them!! He brought a couple home for us to try, needless to say they were SUPERB!!
More yellow can be found over at the FISKARS ANZ BLOG
Look forward to seeing your yellow today.

Good morning :0)
My green pic for today..........
Living in the tropics, i guess it is green most of the time, in particular we are surrounded by sugar cane and mountains wherever we look. This picture is taken on our short drive to school every morning and afternoon. i have been driving it for 13 years and never get tired of seeing it. Its the perfect way to start the day :0)
Well today i am posting more than my 1 green photo!! I am posting some frog photos i took down at our caravan last time we were there for my friend Lyn Dwyer, cause she has had frogs popping up everywhere lately in her blogging and her creations.
So these little fellows are for you Lyn and of course anyone else who might like frogs!!
I have quite a few friends who are petrified by frogs, as they tend to hide in the toilets up here and they can grow VERY big! They don't bother me at all, but i must say i have trodden on the odd one whilst getting up in the middle of the night, and that isn't a nice feeling at all and i'm sure the frog doesn't think so either!!
Pop on over to the ANZ FISKARS BLOG to see what green the other players have found.
Have a great green day.

And something a little bigger from my dish drainer, at least its good for something other than washing up, lol!!
For shadows all around the world check out HEY HARRIET and her fantastic collages.

Big catchup on blue, working yesterday so a day away from the computer.
Day 3......
Well i probably would be happy if i had a swig on this, lol!!
Not my drink preference but a very important ingredient for the garlic prawns my hubby likes to cook!!
Day 4...........
My last blue pic is this one.....
such a lovely colour blue, i was sitting in the car in a carpark making sure no one was around before i took the pic!! I couldn't get the whole car, cause i was too close, and i WASN'T getting out in broad daylight to take it, lol!!
For more blue inspiration go Check out the Fiskars ANZ blog.
FINAL BLUE PHOTOS OR LINKS (SHOOT ME AN EMAIL) HAVE TO BE IN BY 8.30 TONIGHT CAUSE ITS COLLAGE NIGHT AND A NEW COLOUR TOMORROW.
and some published work for me this week :0)
Seeing as we are looking at BLUE I thought i would share a card that was published in Australian Cardmaking Stamping and Papercraft, Volume 15 No 3 which is the current issue out.
I have used the rubons, stickers and alphas to tell a little story on the front of the card.
This extra big card (A4) size uses the Lil Davis "Away we go" range of papers and epoxy stickers, and rubon, also in this range is some gorgeous diecut paper papers, you can see the little aeroplane cutouts on the white card.
Okay i am off to post my shadow shot, better late than never!!
Hope you are enjoying your Sunday.

You know what that means, right?
Tomorrow is a NEW colour!
But lets not jump the gun yet ;0), this is my final purple pic....
This tibouchina is growing in our yard, its such a vibrant purple, its hard to miss!!
Pop over shortly to the Fiskars Blog to check out the collages of purple that everyone has found over the last few days.
I got time to scrap yesterday, in between tapping away at this computer a share for the Fiskars blog ...
Okay so its not PURPLE, lol - but it is colourful and thats what we are looking at this month, and besides i haven't scrapped for a while so i'm doing a little bit of a happy dance that i finally scrapped something ;0)
This is what my kitchen table looks like at the moment, mmm nuff said!!
and under that mess is this new toy that our eldest 2 boys got me for my birthday
I had been eyeing this off in office works, and got such a surprise when i opened my present and this was inside, i'm a guilotine girl through and through, and this baby is beautiful!!!
We got some new product to play with last week, so play i did!!
Credit for this FABULOUS photo has to be given to Tracy from HEY HARRIET she takes these amazing Ttv photos, (through the viewfinder) that you can purchase on her etsy store. I have had this one for a while waiting to scrap it for our month of colour, so when these papers arrived - well they were perfect!
and
This new range is Heidi Grace - CHEERFUL BEE and you can get it mid August in Lincraft stores.
THANKS for stopping by :0)
Have a great night, see you tomorrow for a new colour

Okay i have to admit i have become a little obsessed with finding coloured houses, if we are out and about we find ourselves driving around the back streets looking for brightly coloured houses, car comes to a halt and whoever is in the best photo taking position gets the job of taking the pic. Unless of course we are in a very prominent position with people around and then the kids hit the deck (floor of the car) and die of embarrasment whilst i take the pic !! Well someones gotta do it.
So in the purple category we found 3!!...
So what do you think? Do we know anyone who might paint their house this colour lol!!?
For lots more colourful inspiration head on over to ANZ Fiskars blog and have a peak ;0)
See you tomorrow for your final day of purple :0)

How are we going, easy or hard with purple?
I think what i have found chasing this colour is just how many different purples there are, its one colour there seems to be a lot of different hues.
This is my day 2 shot.....
Our garbage bin liners!! They smell like lavender :0)
Have a great day, be sure to check over on the ANZ Fiskars Blog for purple inspiration throughout the day.
