A very belated Happy New year to all. We finally arrived back last Sunday and the kids back to school on Tuesday.
I really have been in holiday mode and very slow getting back to everything computer related so I thought none better to get back into the swing of things, than with a post for Shadow Shot Sunday .
This is my first class back at Paper Possibilities and when I was looking at the photos I noticed some subtle shadows, so this is my contribution this week.
If you would like to take part in Shadow Shot Sunday simply take a shadow shot and add it to Mr Linky. The very talented Hey Harriet makes fabulous collages out of all the shots and they are true works of art!! Warning though, it is a very addictive past time, lol!!
I had a delightful class of ladies yesterday for our first cardmaking workshop of 2009 and following are the rest of the set that we made. Using the "Fussy cutting" technique - cutting out elements of your favourite patterned paper to create designs on your cards, the ladies all created their own set.
Now while there is no cutting of images in this card, you might notice that the cars in this paper have been cut out and used to make the flower pots in the card above, boy and girl card out of the same paper!! I always think its a bonus when you can get very different occasion cards out of the one piece of paper.
The centrepiece of this card was the "big bazzill chipboard" circle of which the centre punches out and at first thought i was going to use the pushed out shape as a flower on another card but ended up making this cute little girl.........
who lives on this card................
And lastly this one which is my favourite.......
And some closeups............
Hey thanks for stopping by, i will slowly but surely start catching up on some missed blog reading this week.
