Hello.... hope this day finds you all well :0)
Well i have been a little fidgety lately in the craft department, while certainly not tired of papercrafting, i have just really been itching to get back into some sewing. So after doing some bloghopping earlier in the week and being inspired by Melissa Goodsells gorgeous sewing as well as her daughter Bellas's wonderful Alice in Wonderland Stitchery, and checking out her link to what she was taking part in.
I became obsessed immediately and went to check it out!
You can check it out for yourself - 39 Squares
To celebrate her birthday this month Amy is stitching a grid type sampler of 1 inch squares, 1 for each of her 39 years and therefore 39 Squares.
Needless to say, I was instantly smitten!!
To cut a long story short, I went to the local craft shop yesterday and sat up until midnight stitching away.......
Now i am just a tad behind, (Amys square #16 went up today) but thats okay, I will just keep plodding along.
I'm so happy with how the first 2 turned out and have been getting lots of inspiration just from daily life.... its a good thing!!! I've sketched some pics, just so I don't forget and am very keen to get back into the next square, mmmm washing/ironing/bookwork verses stitching!!! I had better behave and not touch it till tonight!!
If you would like to stitch along, you can find all the details RIGHT HERE.
Have fun :0)
